Is there some limitation on getting at QBooks?   I am able to pull from my QB Premier 2007 in multiuser mode without any problems. When my client tries to use the extraction program, she gets this error.
case hrparam
    of 080040408h
szCOMError = 'Could not start QuickBooks.'

Quickbooks was open and running on her computer. She is the admin. The extract program was installed on her local computer. Does she need to be running single user?

She is running QuickBooks Pro in one location and Quickbooks Enterprise in another.

After attempting the extract, she had to "repair" QB on her machine because it would not open.

The first thing I would check is the QuickBooks version – the SDK requires QuickBooks Pro or Premier so if they have another version that could be a problem.

As for single vs. multi-user – it shouldn’t make a difference. qbFUSE works fine in either mode.
